Stamina needs balancing
Hey there!
My pet never sleeps...ever. Why? It is eating automatically.
- Eating food is adding so much stamina, sleeping is obsolete.
- Some foods/ drinks are having a way more better value to price rating, so i am buying everytime the same. (see below screenshot)
suggestion:
- Decrease the stamina on food and let VPet fall asleep when stamina is empty. Alternative getting sick?
- Higher penaltiy on the "preference" food stat or other balancing tactics
I am using only original activities and food/ drinks.
In the current version, sleeping is a free source of physical strength and thirst. This allows players to let their VPets sleep when they leave, thereby avoiding illness caused by prolonged lack of feeding when they return. Using sleep can also prevent the VPets from moving around on the screen, which is another way to avoid disturbing work besides turning off the movement In addition, the VPet actually sleeps by itself occasionally
The official food should all have the same cost-effectiveness, and there is a formula to calculate the cost-effectiveness of all official food. Only event food will have better cost-effectiveness, such as Zongzi, Christmas candy canes, etc In previous versions, eating too much of the same food would lead to a sense of boredom and thus reduce effectiveness. Until recently, a recent update has been made to prevent boredom when eating tasty food I can try to make the effectiveness have a minimum deduction value in the next version to avoid always eating one type of food
Coincidentally, there is a mod author who is making a sleep-related mod, maybe you can look forward to that mod
To make the pet more realistic, I suppose that sleep should be necessary rather than optional. A pet that doesn't need rest and works all day makes me feel weird.
Perhaps a new attribute can be added, called sleepiness value, which determines work efficiency. Some drinks such as coffee can reduce this value. However, this may be a relatively large change. I will add it to the roadmap
Just try "Sleep" in steam workshop
