Feature request to overlay image file (40$ bounty)

It'd be nice to be able to overlay an image file with optional stretching with transparency instead of a window capture.

+1 this! Most of the applications that I can find (that are free and/or open source) for windows that do this, don't work anymore on windows 10. While if this program can do all the things it already does AND this 'simple' feature; it would be a dream!

If I understand correctly, the suggested feature would let users select an image file from disk instead of a target window to clone. The selected image file would then be displayed as an overlay with transparency. Would this work?

Yes, exactly.

We want to use the feature for displaying our logo (transparant png) overtop our monitor when showcasing things on our screen.

@thibaultmol I sincerely hope so. At the moment I'm still trying to fix some issues with HighDPI and Windows 10 that completely break the program. As soon as I am able to release a (working) update again this feature will be added.
