normal (L1) USDT withdrawals to metamask not working

I have been trying for over a week to withdraw some USDT to my metamask wallet and after clicking ok to the fee/gas fee prompt in metamask, the transaction never reflects on loopring. it just appears to ignore the transaction all together. Weeks prior i was able to move some money off of the exchange successfully, which took a little less than a day or so, but this time around, there is no trace of the pending action anywhere on the loopring exchange. Everything seems to behave as if nothing happened.

I saw it succeeded after the gas price was increased.

today was the first time i attempted to increase the gas fee after approving the transaction. I see it processing in loopring too. thanks.
