its not possible to cancel an order that i placed few weeks back

could you please clear the localstorage or browser cookie and data， then refresh and try to cancel your order again. If you can provide us with more detail about the rest api delete /api/v2/orders which used to cancel orders，we will appreciate it. You can the detail in browser network。
