Automatic insulin delivery on yellow loop

We are on day 10 of a sensor and having lots of short periods with no data that result in yellow loop as expected. However, I noticed on Nightscout that a couple of doses appeared to be given without glucose data. I checked the looping phone and it showed no data and yellow loop. This happened another time today also. I don’t think the overrides were causing a problem I turned them off once I had access to the phone (accidentally hit the wrong one and then canceled it). The first 0.2 in the picture was given manually, I think the 0.25 was an automatic bolus. The ones that I noticed earlier in the day were only 0.05. It's possible this is tired operator error, just thought I should report in case something else is happening!

Loop will act on any glucose newer than 15 minutes.

Summary - Loop 3.4 is working as designed.

Please close this issue.

I did some tests on a test phone using Loop 3.4.1. The test phone is using a simulated DASH pump that provides a heartbeat.

Tests:

First test - no CGM added

• As long as there is a pump attached that has a heartbeat - the prediction line shows when FS data is added but loop remains red

Second test - add G6 with a dummy transmitter number (so it won't connect)

• Because there was a recent FS value on the phone, display immediately turned to green loop
• Enter 45 g of carbs and save without bolusing
• Set a timer on my watch to remind me to look every 5 minutes
  • Confirm an AB from Loop, loop remains green
    • Change Dosing Strategy to Temp Basal Only
  • Confirm a temp basal change, loop remains green
    • No Recent Glucose, tap to add FS row appears in HUD
  • Confirm --- shows up in glucose for HUD, loop is yellow, current temp basal will be allowed to continue then return to scheduled basal (unless another FS is added)
