Describe your suggested feature

appreciate if you stub the library. the lack of stub cause pylance doesn't suggest any auto complete. and if I type item by myself I get issue like this

v1 types are awful. Part of the desire of creating v2 was to fulfill that. I don't know when or if v2 will be done. But I also don't really have the energy to stub v1.
