Describe the Bug

Installed sunshine-beta after update that fixed installing on MacOS. Everything seems to working as expected except mouse wheel scrolling commands are not being sent in some apps such as RStudio. Have tried enabling reversed scrolling, reboot, etc no change. Disabled high resolution scrolling, no effect. Wish I could change the title of this issue in retrospect.

Expected Behavior

Sorry for replying to a closed issue, but thought it would be better to not open a new one when it hasn't been resolved. I am having the same issue on MacOS Tahoe 26.0.1. Scrolling works for example in the settings app in the left side pane, but not the main pane. It does not work in VS Code. It works in terminal. In some places it works and in others it doesn't. Another example is it barely scrolls in the app store, and it works fine inside Claude desktop, but then inside Claude desktop connector settings it does not scroll.

How can I provide detailed logs to figure out what's going wrong?

Update 1:

  • I also noticed that the cursor disappears / jumps around on a regular basis, and only re-appears when moving down to the bottom of the screen near the dock.
  • I installed sunshine-beta via brew (Version 2025.1005.140530)
  • Accessing via moonlight-qt (6.1.0-2) on Arch Linux

Update 2:

  • Tried logging in from Moonlight on my iPad using Apple Magic Trackpad, and I am observing similar issues on Moonlight for iPad latest version (9.0.2). It is able to scroll, but stutters while scrolling in VS Code. In the App store, it is unable to scroll, just like in Moonlight Linux, and the cursor keeps disappearing randomly. It only re-appears when I move it near the dock at the bottom of the screen.
