Livesplit One page randomly crashes during use
I have mentioned this before, but I really need help with this. How can I prevent the sort of crashes seen in this video (at the given timestamp 5:16:11 in)? I would be using LiveSplit One on stream and suddenly it just crashes. Should I use a different browser than Google Chrome? Is it just down to hardware issues? These crashes happen so randomly and I cannot predict when, how, or why they happen. Please let me know if anything can be done.

The entire tab crashing like that is "more or less" impossible for a website itself to cause and is almost always either an issue within Chrome or a hardware issue. However, we do indeed use the latest features available in all the browsers, so chances are a bit higher that we run into browser bugs than a usual website. Is there more information available about why the tab crashed?
You can definitely work around this by switching to Firefox, but that's definitely not an ideal solution. One thing that we are working on is the ability to reload the site and it retains the active run.
I will have to get a full screenshot if it happens again, but I think the error page is very similar to the one that appears when you Force Quit a certain page using the Chrome Task Manager. Not sure if there's further diagnostics I can look at for this. I should mention that when I returned to LiveSplit One, all of my data was once again deleted. Thankfully I have saved .lss files, learning from last time, but truly it's been quite rough using a speedrunning timer program of late.
