User Interface can be done only programatically??

Hello,

I have added a storyboard and in my storyboard i put a toolbar. the problem is that i haven't been able to make it visible at the moment. If I put the toolbar programatically, I will be able to see the toolbar. Is it possible to fix this problem since I am not good at designing a proper UI programatically..
