It works like all other apps...why should we introduce such a special function. Maybe it would be better to have somehting like "always return to my current position" to restore...

According to http://www.opencaching.de/okapi/services/logs/submit.html this seems not supported by the current OPKAPI version. Closing until this feature is available via OKAPI.
