Deterministic build or hash verification of the HWI binary

Hello, I'd like to be able to independently verify the HWI binaries used. At the minimum it would be good to include the version and asc file so users can verify against achow101's releases here: https://github.com/bitcoin-core/HWI/releases. Thanks!

I guess in the interim period one could overwrite the local HWI binaries with ones downloaded from achow101

This is a good suggestion. I'll look into how I can do that with the next release.
