In the blog, it’s written that the LTX2 weights will be released at the end of November 2025?

This is not the first time I've seen such a phenomenon. Lying becomes a habit and making a fool of the community.

The website says this fall. So it turns out they can literally do it today. If they don't do this, in the future it will simply be impossible to believe their words that will be said for hype. But of course, they are completely within their rights not to do so.

Let's give them a chance, release dates change, there are logistics to consider for teams like this that might drive a release a few days later.

It it comes in time for Xmas, it's a great gift to the community either way 😃

Honestly, if they release on Xmas it might not even matter that much, because the AI landscape is changing every single week now. By the time they drop it, there could already be something stronger out — that’s just how fast things move these days.

Still, yeah, give them a chance. Release dates slip all the time, especially with teams working on complex stuff. If it does land around Xmas, cool — nice little gift for the community. But the way things are going, the “best model” title doesn’t stay with anyone for long anyway 😄

Hi all, thanks for asking.

When we dropped LTX-2, we said we'd have our open source release ready by late November. We've decided to push back to January 2026 so we can make sure this release is as solid as possible.

We know this is disappointing, and we appreciate your patience. Our goal is to give you the best possible experience with LTX-2, and this extra time will help us make that happen.

I am sorry, but I do not believe it. First it was late November for the webpage, then late December or the end of the year for Discord, and now it is late January 2026. You might fool others, but not me. As long as nobody releases a similar model before you, you will not release yours either. Late January 2026 is a good plan and gives enough time for the community to forget, while you can in the meantime throw out something cheap to increase the effect of forgetting and misdirection. I am a developer and a computer science student, but I am also street smart. If something smells wrong, I notice it.

I have no problems at all 😊. I’m simply pointing out the inconsistent communication. We’ll talk again at the end of January, and then you’ll understand exactly what I mean. 😉

They don't owe us anything, even if they promised something. I think you're confusing a few things.

You might want to take a closer look at how this industry works. The companies aren't doing us a favor; we are doing them one.

The community provides the free labor, testing, and mods that keep these models relevant. Without us, their 'product' dies. Stalling the release while farming the engagement is just open-washing. But honestly, with that attitude, you should just ask them for a job or I can buy you a bouquet of flowers so you can personally thank them.
