Freezing in upscaling part with vae tiled decoder
I used to be able to run the upscale with no problem with a tile size of 768.. but ad of a couple of days ago it starts taking forever, and freezes the whole computer..
even if I change the tile size to much lower values it still does it.
I’m guessing it’s because of the use of system ram, since it’s the whole computer that freezes up, but it never oom’s and after 20 min it finishes the output.. but it never did this before.. is it because of the browser I’m running comfyui in (Firefox) or something else?
System specs: Rtx 4080 16GB VRAM 32 GB system ram i7 12 gen processor
Every Other part of the workflow runs super fast (also the first vae decode with out tillling), even the tiled sampler runs fine with around 32s per step.
