Question: will the 2B model still be maintained?
Congratulations on the new 13B model, I've only had a short time to play with it, but I can already see that in I2V, human faces are being maintained far better than in previous models. However, the generation time has gone up significantly. I'm only on an RTX3060 and the massive attraction of LTX has been that I can generate very usable animations in under 10 minutes - even faster with the distilled model, though the results are very "unpredictable". With 0.9.7 13B, though, those same animations take over an hour.
I fully understand that a 13B model - even quantised - is always going take a toll on the GPU. I'm sure that those with top end cards will love all the extra functionality, but I wanted to ask if the 2B model will still get updates for those of us who haven't got the budget for 5090s etc and are willing to sacrifice some quality for speed?
13B being a horrible bug riddled release, I hope so, but I doubt it. Seems a lot of us can't even run this new one. Not sure if because fp8 versus full model (as some had to do) or what, but workflows that were so botched, to this nonsense, I have to say that I was really betting on this little model that could. Now? I wait and see their next release and if the same, or just even more botched, then done. At least we still have the older 0.9.5 which rocked and was going in the right direction.
