I notice this also with PHaZOR. It plays the first second or 2 of a short wav file and the rest is silence. GStreamer works as expected.
I know it says to change for Arduino Uno but it doesn't work with anything besides Tensy 2.0++ that I'm aware of.
If this works it would definitely make the build process a bit simpler. It would require some modifications to the compile instructions.
I forgot to post that this is working for me now. I was trying to follow too many different readmes.

QSSTV development has slowed. QSSTV gets a lot of false positives resulting in static images. It also misses many images even when signal conditions are good enough to decode them....
This is also happening for me under Linux with the latest version of IDE.
It should be possible to test this by bypassing the 74HC125. DRIVE_EN should still be connected to PC0. I don't currently have anything to try this.
