Manually add games to Revive Dashboard

Open TerraBad opened this issue 8 years ago • 7 comments

For friends and family that aren't used to VR its a real pain trying to get them to navigate to the desktop and then to the system menu and then looking for the game they want to play. Is there anyway to manually add/save injected games to the Revive dashboard from within VR?

Just as some added information, which standalone games are you looking to add to the dashboard?

Games like OrbusVR, and other indie titles that can't afford to be on Oculus Home store

A way to do this is to Copy the Revive Injector to the Games Folder. Add that Injector as a Third Party Game in Steam. Then change the Display Name and under Launch Parameter add the Full Path to the Games Executeable. Than Simply tick the "Show in VR" Checkbox and Done. The Game will be displayed in the VR Dashboard.

The injector is still there. Go to the right of the windows taskbar click the up arrow find the revive icon and right click it then select inject.
