Golf+ not starting in VR

Do not report issues when using the Virtual Desktop or ALVR drivers for SteamVR, this is not supported by Revive.

Describe the bug A clear and concise description of what the bug is.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Start SteamVR
  2. click on Golf+ inside Revive overlay / or on the Homething inside the House
  3. Game starts on Desktop

Expected behavior Play in VR

Environment (please complete the following information):

  • App: [Golf+]
  • OS: [Win 10]
  • Headset: [Valve Index]

Versions (please complete the following information):

  • Revive: 3.2.0
  • SteamVR: 2.6.2 (also tried 2.5.0 and 1.27.5)

Additional context i uninstalled 3-4 times because the guy in thread said it helped but its not working for me https://github.com/LibreVR/Revive/issues/1804 today the game starts and loads (but on the desktop) yesterday it crashed after a few seconds of starting (also on desktop) First contact, oculus touchbasics and oculus dreamdeck all load normal inside VR

I was able to start the game by going into the steamVR settings-->openXR and then turning on Meta Plugin Compatibility. I'm able to launch the game in VR now, but the controllers don't properly track, and I can't click items in the menu.

@joal5320 Can you try running the Golf+ executable directly with Meta Plugin Compatibility enabled rather than running it through the Revive dashboard? The executable is located in: C:\Program Files\Oculus\Software\Software\golf-scope-inc-golf\GolfPlus.exe.

I have a problem, I can play other meta/oculus games, but golf+ isn't working, I'm only able to hear everything but can't see or do anything.

I'm having the same issue too. Anything I can help provide? I already reinstalled the Meta Quest Link app.

I can confirm the compatibility settings load the game in VR for me (rather than just desktop), but the UI is indeed broken. The triggers do register on some UI, but the controller is misaligned in game and the [Continue] button is not clickable when starting a brand new game.

Update: I can see everything, but I have the same issue as Joal, my controller is not working and has the wrong alignment. @CrossVR

I tried messing around with the bindings. More looks like it is just not registering the controller properly. I am thinking maybe a profile issue? Is there a way to reset? I remember I messed with the controller settings years ago when it work
