Population One not loading
All other games load fine. Pop1 did an update and now when revive tries to load it you can hear the game trying to load in the background but nothing ever appears in regard to the game
Have you tried version 3.0 of Revive with OpenXR mode?
same here not loading since yesterday..how can I dl the 3.0 I only come to some log file when following the link to beta revive...thx!

thanks a lot! just installed it but first gave pop1 via oculus pc app and steam vr a fresh install....same same, openxr on or not, game launched via revive dashboard, or oculus pc app, or even as imported .exe in steam...everything makes population one launch as always, you hear the sound via index hmd but in headset it stucks on steamvr native msg pop1 loading please wait and you see the steamvr playspace bg forever....what is link account in revive? never used...oucluus runtime and server normally running when I use revive...I guess I dont have to input my oculus login when oculus pc is up ?! thanks for any tip! ciao from berlin

could help copying this files in oculus/software/gamedir ?
same issue here others as well when i reverted back to a beta test channel of pop one it loads like normal but that doesnt help anything. something is preventing it from injecting into headset because the monitor still picks it up and stays stuck on the height screen and you can hear the music and stuff just nothing in headset
is there anyway we could take steams files copy and paste into oculus and maybe get it to catch and load or even open xr.. ive tried everything .. what about going back to a beta version copying those files needed to inject the game and pasting into new build ? like just replacing them with the ones that work
maybe it is the new facebookmetolus trick to prevent playing oculus games on steam vr eheheh....tried around with everything, different computers wont work with current pop1...just playing with shitty grafix and nausea causing framerate on quest2 native now :-(
interesting because it will run on the rift s.... although other oculus stuff still runs. I think this is going to be a BB thing which means we are screwed. The Q2 is so grainy and yellow after using an index :(

Ya lots of other issues but atleast it played lol . I can deal with other issues. I actually today ran it with oculus debug tool running and have screen shots of the issues it's having when loading game vs a game that loads fine .. also I reverted to early access test version which was a release older then current and it runs fine besides fact it's not online server wise but loads to headset

Can you try downgrading your OVRPlugin.dll located at big-box-vr-inc-battleroyale/PopulationONE_Data/Plugins/x86_64 with the one linked below:

hey, just overwritten that .dll in pop1 oculus dir. now pop1 window starts but closes/crashes and no sound is coming. I rolled back to that openvr.dll which was included and it starts again on screen but not in index like before....
If you're on Revive 3.0, make sure Use Open VR runtime is checked.

It would crash for me also until I went to revive version 2.1.1 after that with the dll file swapped I have no issues at all its perfect
A fixed version of 3.0 is available here. Make sure you check "Use OpenVR Runtime".

Easiest way would be just download 2.1.1 revive and you don't need to check any box but if your using 3.0 .. once you have steam open you'll see that revive is open also go to the icon and right click and you'll see the option for using open VR .. but like I said I did both ways and the 2.1.1 was the most automated basically just download and pasted the dll but I believe Nero actually made a patch he put a link here somewhere I'll find it one sec

nor sure if I get it? where is that appveyor.yml to update? I downloaded the 2.1.1 and also the fixed version posted by @ahmanwoods before, openvr runtime checked but still the same....do I have to delete everything before reinstalling....?! thanks for any hint I justs sold that shitty quest2 today cause the terrible framerate was not standable...I need my index getting work with pop1 again soon :-)
ok got it running again in index hmd...wi6th the fixed 3.0 version...but first time I start it, there or no vr hands/controllers (in steamvr they work like they should). then I restart the game and it crashes always before reaching the start screen ... should I reinstall pop1, ocuolus app, steam vr ?!
