Assertion Error when trying to start Lone Echo 2

Unfortunately, I cannot even launch Lone Echo 2. I also tried updating my drivers and so on as well as reinstalling Revive 5 times or so.

Environment (please complete the following information):

  • App: Lone Echo 2
  • OS: Win 10 Version 21H1
  • Headset: Valve Index

Versions (please complete the following information):

  • Revive: tested both 2.1.1 and the 3.0 pre-release
  • SteamVR: SteamVR beta 1.20.4

Have you tried going back to SteamVR stable instead if the beta?

The 3.0 pre-release is also not working with my system but I've better luck with the 2.1.1, which works fine with SteamVR 1.20.4.
