Population One: Controller haptic feedback not present on button hold
Describe the bug Controller haptic feedback only present on button press, not button hold
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Hold trigger to shoot an automatic weapon
Expected behavior Controllers are expected to vibrate per bullet shot. Either your main hand when holding a weapon with one hand, or both hands when gripping a weapon with two hands
Environment (please complete the following information):
- App: Population: ONE
- OS: Win10 64
- Headset: Oculus Quest 2
Versions (please complete the following information):
- Revive: 2.1.1
- SteamVR: 6801443
Additional context I also tried the latest beta, but it gives an injection error on game launch. 2.1.1 works flawlessly for me at 1.5x in oculus, and 150% in steamvr (effective 2.25x) and 120hz, it's just the controller vibration.
I have this issue in all revive games. It started with SteamVR version 1.17.
The issue was mitigated by update 1.17.16 hotfix https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/250820/view/3044977170969500123
However, haptics is still inconsistent; when a haptic event is triggered while another is already executing, the latter is lost.
