It would be really useful to have an on-screen indication of which audio source / hardware device will be used before pressing the Record button.

For example, the typical sources are the built-in microphone, the TRRS microphone socket (if any), a bluetooth microphone or a USB microphone.

Some people may have all of these types of devices available at the same time.

It is useful to have a visual indication about which one Recording Studio is going to use before pressing the Record button.
