currently it's not possible to update all plugins by running /pluginmanager update * nothing happens by running the command, no error

updating by manually typing the pluginname works fine tho

I just tested this locally and everything seems to work fine. Could you share some more information like any exceptions that may be in the server console, server version and plugins which are outdated?

Thanks for the fast reply, Server version is Purpur 1.20.1

because of your successful test I created a testserver and removed plugins one by one, and it actually really was a problem on my side. The conflicting plugin was ExecutableBlocks https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/5-%E2%AD%90-executable-blocks-%E2%AD%90-add-activators-on-your-blocks.94696/

pluginmanager seems to come to a halt when it scans this exact plugin. this plugin is not marked as installed, as it is a premium plugin and can't be downloaded

I got it fixed by adding it as ignored:

IgnoredPlugins:

  • PluginManager
  • ExecutableBlocks

I suggest changing the batch update action to only scan plugins, that are written in config as installed

Thanks for the information. Since I don't have too much time over the holidays I can only really take a look at it next year. I'll let you know when I found the issue.
