Summary
I am guessing that this is a combination of frontend and backend for lemmy:main On lemmy-ui there is a "delete account" button, when you press that button it asks for a password. But, because the account was created with SSO there is no password, so it is not possible to delete the account
Steps to Reproduce
- Login with SSO to a lemmy with SSO enabled. For example: hopandzip.com (which is a lemmy instance that I set up)
- Go to your account settings and click the delete button.
- It will ask for password and you can't delete your account.
