Add the ability to tag users like on RES
For front end issues, use lemmy-ui
Is your proposal related to a problem?
If a certain user is "notable" (like a developer of a open source project i like) it is hard to remember who he is. If i will remember who he is am more likely to engage in conversation with him.
Describe the solution you'd like
Add the ability to tag users, so a title i give him will be next to his name (RES has this feature)
Describe alternatives you've considered
none
Additional context
Dessalines saw this post where i criticised lemmy and he asked i will open issues.
This is a really useful feature, and I agree it'd be great for lemmy to have this, stored in the back-end also so its available to every client.
Any chance there will be a sorted list of lemmy features by priority (with the most valuable or beneficial at the top , I does not have to be very complete or organised).
The faster the most useful feature will be implemented the more attractive lemmy would be to new users, which might attract potential contributors (and would make lemmy even better).
I realize it's not easy implemeting stuff in such an orderly way, but even working that way only part of the time is good. For me at least forgetting to do something really valuable is not hard.
We've been working from our own priority list rn, but the backlog is growing faster than just the two of us are able to complete issues. We def need more help to do features like this.
But the best "priority" sorting, is just sorting by most reacttions or most comments. At least that's what I sort by when want to work new issues.
