Hello,

Since day zero this UI has had a very annoying thing that affects anyone with more than one language selected in the settings.

When I go to create a post/comment I'm always required to pick a language:

Why can’t Lemmy just have a setting so I can say “consider all my posts are English unless I change it?”

A dropdown under settings to pick the default post language IS VERY necessary.

Even worse, when I edit a comment/post I suddenly have to pick the language again and this might be the source of the issue here https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui/issues/1878.

I also think this should follow the "Interface Language" of the user, or introduce another setting over on lemmy backend to support a default "post / comment" language.

it would be nice to have, maybe separate to interface language, for example English isn't my fist language but most part of lemmy is English, so is the most of my comments/posts. I would make content language selector actually usable because most of the content would have an actual language selected
