Is your proposal related to a problem?

Currently, you must scroll to the top of the page to view and interact with the navbar (view notifications, etc.) This is especially tedious on mobile devices where there is a lot of content to scroll through before reaching the top.

Describe the solution you'd like.

Making the navbar sticky (scroll with the rest of the page) would allow easy access to its features and allow users to quickly glance at the number of notifications or reports they have.

This should be a simple css attribute but things like the hamburger menu may need some tweaking as well.

Describe alternatives you've considered.

Keeping the navbar as it is is also a valid option (this is a purely design decision).

Hexbear (Lemmy fork) has implemented this feature: It is hard to convey through a screenshot, but you can also go to their website to play around with it.
