Un-collapsing the last comment of a thread does not cause the view to scroll down

Open elishamint opened this issue 1 year ago • 3 comments

Jerboa Version 0.0.33

Describe the bug Once the very last comment in a comment tree has been collapsed, it can not be re-opened. ... or so it seems. Funny behaviour: it does re-open together with the second-last comment. :-)

To Reproduce

  1. Scroll all the way down in a comment list where the last two comments are separate, not one sub-tree. (but it's similar with sub-trees, only complicated to describe)
  2. Tap on very last comment in order to collapse.
  3. Tap again to re-open -- no effect.
  4. Tap on second-last comment to collapse it as well. -- it collapses and at the same time the last one re-opens.
  5. Re-open second-last again. Then collapse both. Tap on last one, then tap on second-last -- both open together.

I'm having trouble reproducing this. What I am noticing is that the comment expands but doesn't scroll up, so there is no visual change when re-expending the comment. Can you check if that's the case for you?

Oh yes! It does indeed just not scroll up. Sorry for the confusion, should i close the issue? ... Well it's still confusing and should actually scroll back up if possible.

I updated the issue title to reflect this, since it is a bug, just not what was originally reported.

I don't know if this is an issue anymore since the spacer was added #1074
