Typed letters appear in backward order when typing

Describe the bug

When typing in an input field, the letters are entered in the reverse order

Steps to reproduce

1. Open any text field
2. type "abc"
3. see "cba" written in the input

Expected behavior

I expect the letters to appear in the order I entered them

I can confirm this bug. Weirdly enough it seems to happen only on one of my machines and both of them run the same setup

I am afraid this is an upstream bug. I will report it/find an issue about it
