Signature file

I was using your tool in order to modify original firmware files, but in the last one versions, i can see a new file called signature in var folder, and I think this file is checked in order to pass the upgrade check before upgrade firmware. When I mod the rootfs file with my own patched squashfs, I think I must mod the signature file but I dont know how do it. Do you have some info related with this file?
