BTT (NEW) Not Supported
Ledger Live Version and Operating System
- tested on Ledger Live 2.36.3
- Platform and version: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
Expected behavior
Tron's BTT was swapped and BTT TRC10 tokens are now BTT TRC20 tokens. We should be able to see the balance of BTT TRC20 in LedgerLive and make transactions without issues.
Actual behavior
After swapping BTT to TRC20, the balance of BTT shows 0 in Ledger Live. The balance does show correctly when viewing balance in Tron Scan. When trying to send the BTT TRC20 tokens while connected to Ledger, an error is thrown, "Transaction cancelled by user".
BTT balance shows 0 in Ledger Live and when sending a transaction an error appears, "Transaction cancelled by user" in Tronscan.
Steps to reproduce the behavior
Send BTT TRC20 to your Ledger wallet. Connect to Ledger Live and you will see a 0 balance under BTT. Connect to TronScan with your Ledger. You will now see the correct balance in TronScan while connected to your Ledger Wallet. Try and send BTT anywhere and instead of being allowed to accept the transaction from your Ledger, an error will appear that says, "Transaction cancelled by user".
Error when sending transaction -
Showing that there is a balance of BTT when trying to send a transaction and that this is BTT TRC20 -
Showing that in Ledger Live, the balance of BTT TRC20 does not show -
Any news? Have the same issue :(
@DakarMaximus go into your Tron app on the Ledger, access settings, change - Custom Contracts - Allowed Transactions Data - Allowed
Now try to make your transaction. Weirdly, it worked every other time for me after this. After you try, it will appear successful on the Ledger and based on the Tronscan modal. Give it a few seconds to verify the transaction appears in your wallet. If not, try again.
Why the BTT prices are not showing the Ledger Live, Aren't BTT(TRC20) tokens are fully supported?
@dnsoumik that was my thought too. It leads me to believe this should not be a difficult fix, but who knows what the devs are dealing with.
I wish we could get some communication from them on this.
