The latest version of [tree-sitter-openscad](https://github.com/bollian/tree-sitter-openscad/pull/9) seems to have solved this problem, I will upgrade.

The [PR](https://github.com/bollian/tree-sitter-openscad/pull/9) of tree-sitter-openscad is not merged yet.

@DeflateAwning I tried the last version 0.5.0 of `tree-sitter-openscad` this issue still exist.

For performance, now only search backwards for symbols instead of searching for all symbols. You can move the inner module to a separate file to around this problem for now.

I test it on VSCode on Mac, and can't reproduce it.

I reproduced this bug, but it has little impact on usage. This workaround maybe cause other problem, so I won't merge it for now.

@ChemicalXandco I develop a new [server](https://github.com/Leathong/openscad-LSP), you can try it.

You can customize the keyboard shortcut. open "preferences: open keyboard shortcuts" from the command palette, and filter "@command:scad-lsp.preview".

Just save the file，openSCAD will re-render the file automatically. Or you means export? The plugin cannot export for now, you can export from openSCAD.
