Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I'd like to be able to add a meeting for certain people involved in a project, with a date and time, so that everyone can see it in the project calendar, and in their personal calendar. But there's nothing.
Describe the solution you'd like I'd like to be able to create a meeting or event in the project calendar (milestone), with participants, a date, a time, a title and a description. I'd also like a notification to be sent.
Maybe an invitation?
I agree, currently (self-hosted version) it is not possible to create a calendar event that is visible by other people in the organization without having them import your entire ical calendar. The only solution I found was to create a new user for each group of people attending the same event, and sharing this user's ical with everybody involved. Not great... Additionally, people involved (i.e. who have the ical link) cannot modify the group events without having to connect to this shared user.
The solution of being able to create and share an event in one own calendar would really be much better. Also letting the possibility to people with whom it is shared to modify it.
