1 year of inactivity, is leaflet.draw dead

This repo has seen no commit for +1 year, PR and issues are stacking up even though @ddproxy (the main contributor and Leaflet member) still uses Github, Leaflet is still very active and Leaflet.draw is still widely used and I don't know an alternative for Leaflet.Draw. maybe somebody from leaflet organisation could tell us about the status of this. I'm building a product with Leaflet and if leaflet.draw is deprecated my company may tell me to use a supported package. Moreover people making PR, filling up issues and using this package probably need to know the status of this repo.

Does most if not all of what Leaflet.Draw can do and is actively maintained by @codeofsummit. But yeah it's unfortunate that this long-standing drawing library seems to be dead.

Nobody is updating this plugin? Any fork? Alternatives? I need rotation for polygons or rectangles like: https://github.com/w8r/Leaflet.Path.Transform and also leaflet-geoman does not support rotation. Thank you!

Is anyone aware about someone forking it and simply releasing latest version? For some reason latest release was broken on mobile while unreleased latest code works fine.

Just FYI, Rotation is meanwhile supported in Leaflet-Geoman. https://github.com/geoman-io/leaflet-geoman#rotation-mode
