Release in opam?

Plus one for a release on opam. Although I see apache-arrow is already up to a version 13. @LaurentMazare will there be any plans to release the library to opam?

It's actually a bit tricky to do so: for ocaml-torch we have a libtorch opam package to ensure that the underlying c library is present (as it would be a pain to vendor only the C++ code for libtorch and rebuild it). Here we would have to do the same thing or vendor the C++ version but none seem ideal.

the most portable opam packages are the ones which vendor the code they rely on...

I certainly agree with this but vendoring large projects is challenging as the build process is usually fairly involved.
