[Bug]: Mod Manager not showing mods
Operating System
Windows 11
BG3 Mod Manager Version
1.0.9.7
BG3 Game Version
4.1.1.3700362
Bug Summary
When loading mods into the mod folder they never show up within the mod manager. I've tried manually adding, and importing and they just never appear under inactive (or active, or overrides).
I've tried reinstalling the game multiple times, and 3 of my friends are using all the same mods and it works just fine.
We have the same permissions and file locations as well. Still nothing.

turns out it was registry issue. turn on logging and check your logs if you also experience this anomaly.
Could you explain how you were able to do that I'm having the same issue
Your best bet is likely a fresh install of windows, but I pulled the error log and then got assistance from some co-workers on editing the affected registry file

I'm having this problem also. Hopefully an easier fix presents itself, but hey... At least you're not the only one affected, right?
An issue in the lslib repo mentions Patch 3 introduced a new lsf version: https://github.com/Norbyte/lslib/issues/183
Since mod manager uses this library, it could be a source of the problem. The good news is that Norbyte appears to be aware and is working on a fix :)
To see if this could be your issue, look for “lsf version 7 not supported” in the logs for mod manager.
Manually extracting the PAK files from the downloaded .zip into the Mod folder (C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods) enables them to show up as inactive mods. Hope that helps others!
