[Feature Request] [low priority] Mac Compatibility
Mac is currently still in Early Access mode, but once it's rolled out it would be nice to be able to extend this so that it works on that platform as well.
This can be an undertaking, depending on how much adjustment is needed-- happy to help & test if you decide to do it.
Mac is now fully supported–anything we can help provide or help tackle to bring support?
The game came out on the mac, but putting mods manually is a living hell. Is there a chance that it will be possible to use BG3MM natively on mac too?
For Mac users going crazy, you can run Windows utilities with Wine like Linux users. I'm currently on Linux so I can't provide step-by-step instructions, but you might find it worth looking into while you wait. You might want to look up what other Linux users have done to get applications like this one and the converter tool running as a guidepost to what you need to set up. You may have run different a different version of Wine than Proton to do so - it doesn't look like Proton runs natively on Mac.
I do very much agree on principle that this should be available to Mac users. Also, I'd very much like this to run natively on Linux at some point pretty please, but that's even lower priority than on Mac.
IDK why, but this program doesn't work from under Wine. Tried via crossover and whisky with different configurations and zero result (
with the full release of mac support i'm also seconding that it would be incredible to have bg3mm supported on mac!
I would greatly appreciate a macOS version of this mod manager. I am aware of the above mac mod manager but still preferable to have a version of this mod manager for macOS.
