You can probably use `GitHub API Conditional requests` which don't count towards rate limiting. https://docs.github.com/en/rest/overview/resources-in-the-rest-api#conditional-requests

I wonder if pets could be a special kind of "contact"? Maybe a relationship establishes them as a pet. Not sure if that would be too much special handling though.
Oh it looks like it actually did save and when I refreshed I have 10 entries for all the times I tried clicking.
Are you open to bug reports like this yet? I don't want to add noise for things you already know about and/or are planned for later.
