Create new pypi release, 0.2.3?

Hi and thanks for a great python module!

Though unfortunately the latest on pypi is a bit outdated as I'd love to have this year's improvements. Can you release a new one?

Also please create a similar git tag so it is easy view the source on github which corresponds to the pypi release.
