IPv6 Woes

It seems that irc clients and IPv6 are not fans of each other. When I connect using IPv6 to a server, I do not get a more, channel windows refuse to open properly, and probably other things that the client is doing wrong.

Only appears to happen on some servers? Like Esper (availo), but freenode is fine? O.o

I won't say this is an invalid issue, but it might be an issue with android itself

Even fairly recent versions of android don't support IPv6 very well.
