Shells Causing Extreme Lag

Ever since I created some shells on my server, approximately 6 so far, the server has been having memory problems. We even have Wandering Traders spawning on the land above where these shells are located. I noticed they're extending FakeServerPlayerEntity, is it possible that these shells are being treated as actual players, loading chunks and whatnot?

Hmm, they should not be loading chunks, if they are it's a bug.
