Can i sniff 868Mhz?

Hello.

I have got a CC1101 868 Mhz and a nodemcuv2. wired them accordingly the readme

Last 2 days i have been trying to sniff some PIR sensors (868mhz) with no success.

at this point i dont even know if what i am doing its possible? i have found lots of help/tutorials only to sniff 433 but there is a lack of tutorials for doing the same for 868mhz

If you could point me in the right direction?

i followed the steps in here https://docs.openmqttgateway.com/setitup/rf.html but only changed the CC1101 to the 868mhz version.

The thing that I found helped a lot is to first sniff known signals. Do you have a 315/433 remote? get that working, until you do you wont know if its setup, module, or other ..
