Extend 350 MHZ range

Hi, my house is using 348mhz remote but I understand that cc1101 can work on 300-348 mhz however there are some people can extend to 350 mhz thus, I try to change frequency in lib. from 348 to 350 in all function. the signal can be detect by the cc1101 but the garade door is not respond the code. Is this the real method to make cc1101 get transmit 350mhz?
