Other details
~~The epub I choose is from my external storage (sd card)~~ Happens with both internal and external
~~The app freezes in the app logo when trying to enter after the crash, only force close lets you enter again~~
also happens with the option "Update Library"
I thought maybe the problem was that the epub was a duplicate but I tried to add a new one and the same thing happened
This is the epub with which it happened to me first and is still happening: https://www.mediafire.com/file/4h8n5oa4h550aks/[Taikutsu+x+Kaleid]+Kage+no+Jitsuryokusha+ni+Naritakute+-+Volumen+04.epub/file

yea, happens to me, when creating a epub with a name too long doesnt works neither
This is because the epub was missing toc.ncx (table of content). The latest app doest support it

Oh... What abt this other epub? I just want to clarify bc since I couldn't import that one too, then it will be the same with all my epub :( It's supposed to be YenPress so... Idk I hope something is different or there's a solution
Still happening in 86c82c1 btw
Could you try with the latest build from github actions. I dont have a plan to add support for epub file without toc in near feature btw

By toc you mean this?
That's in the two epubs I sent earlier tho... In the first one it appears as chapter "Contenido" ('content' in spanish), but I guess it should be toc.*** within the epub

Still happening after Github Action 2.0.0 (17/08/24 04:46 PM UTC) Commit: a22d754f, I don't think the problem is the .toc thing

Oh I don't have a pc at hand... The app just crashes exactly when I click on the epub to import nothing else happens
Ugh... Still not working, so frustrating Mybe I'll try to reinstall the app completely sometime
Retrieve the logcat or just wait for someone able to reproduce it (soon) Without the crash log it's difficult.
I was able to do it, and I just realized it also happens with the option "Update Library" @Palloxin @nyagami
I hope it helps I did exactly what it says in the discord guide
I have the same problem and i had checked the epub file: the toc.ncx file is there within the oebps folder
And after this even trying to download a chapter crash the app Note:the app size is exactly 1.00 Gb
Even trying to updating crash the app now
@8L4CK-8L4Z3 make another issue if u want to report other problems, not in this one if it's not related.
It's related cause it all started with epub crash the app and then everything else is crashing it now @Palloxin
I just tried it and it doesn't happen in the build with custom id, I hope that build doesn't get just thrown away...
As a last attempt, just wipe out everything and reinstall the app. Sometimes, old versions mess up the data on new ones.
