[F-r]Make “Open JS file” open txt files too

Open Palloxin opened this issue 1 year ago • 2 comments

Describe your suggested feature

Title ↑. I want to select txt files too. It is basically the exact same. The app just needs the information in it.

Other details

Currently the app doesnt even open some JS files so.. while it doesnt work it can be a good a way to circumvent it.

It should be simple to implement, no?

Ideally, this should be fixed rather than allowing .txt files. I don't believe it is a common use case to save JavaScript code in a .txt file.

It's because users might not be familiar with it. Until a month ago i thought they were like .bat files, executables that if clicked start instructions. If it is txt they will surely get that they have to copy paste the code in there. JS file might be ambigue and sound unfamiliar.
