Unable to Connect to Remote Node

Open lobsterpub opened this issue 5 years ago • 2 comments

Describe the bug I am trying to add my remote node to Zap iOS but after 10-13 seconds it fails and returns to Add/Create Wallet screen. I am using the exact same lndconnect info as Zap Desktop that works perfectly fine. The only thing I can think of is that it is timing out possibly due to using tor on my lnd node.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open Zap iOS
  2. Scan LNDConnect QR Code
  3. Click Connect
  4. After 10-13 seconds returns to add/create wallet screen

Expected behavior Successfully adds remote node wallet.

Screenshots If applicable, add screenshots to help explain your problem.

Your environment

  • Device: iPhone SE
  • OS: iOS 13.4.1
  • Version Zap iOS 0.5.1 (3.3) Testflight
  • LND 0.9

Additional context I have reinstalled Zap, regenerated macaroons, tls cert and key. Everything works fine with Zap Desktop.

Also, cannot connect using Tor with Zap iOS anymore

Tor access also does not work for us.

Info: Zap 0.7.2 LND 0.11.0

Pasting an accurate LND quick connect URL fails with "Invalid code format" and scanning the LND quick connect URL from a QR code fails after ~20 seconds while trying to connect with "Could not connect to server (check your internet connection)".

Verified: Internet connection is working LND quick connect URL is correct

LND node address is over Tor eg: xxx.onion:10009
