channel.backup file not found when using BTCPay server

channel.backup file not found error when using zap wallet #903

I have been using zap wallet with BTCPay for a while. Have BTC and Lightning using LND set up, but with the latest update I get this error when I try to connect with my zap wallet.

How can I create channel.backup and how can I receive the file?

✌️is btcpay server running an older lnd version? static channel backups were introduced in lnd v0.6-beta.

i'm already working on better error messages for the static channel backup screen.

This is the version I am using

upgraded to the latest version of btcpay, getting the same error:

"version": "0.7.0-beta commit=basedon-v0.7.0-beta-dirty",

No, it's an IPhone

Sorry I don't have iphone to test, I don't know about the error, need to ping @ottosuess . On android, it works. (I don't know if channel backups work, but the app works)
