Feature Request: Possibility to include plugins in the search aka Unified Library

It would be nice if the search feature would include matches on youtube, spotify, soundcloud, bandcamp etc.

Possibly with a priority

Spotify > bandcamp > soundcloud > youtube for example.

This is an idea which has been around for years... alas, it's a rather complex challenge. Not technically in the first place, but in terms of user experience: how would you present the various results on the small display of the Radio?

We do have a search feature in place which would allow you to enter the search term, then search for it in the various places. I must admit I'm not sure whether the 3rd party plugins would show up there. But that's probably the plugin authors' problem.

@mherger I see the UX challenges for this in the player interface, but I think this would be quite a nice feature for the WebUI (and provide it trough the API for 3rd party apps). Which search did you mean which might search also 3rd party plugins? I don't remember any which shows results from more than one source.

@pascalberger - the Search item on the player would give you access to local music, radio, music services you've installed etc.
