`kick01` cuts halfway through when used in a beat clip
When using kick01.ogg in a beat clip the note cuts short after about 60% of the sample is played. If you select "reverse sample" it plays the last 60% instead. Adjusting the start or end changes where the cut happens, but it still maintains the same ratio compared to start/end. If the pitch is raised high it seems to play a bit longer. If "loop sample" or volume envelope is enabled it works like expected. It's only kick01.ogg that has this problem as far as I know. Playing normal notes works like expected, the bug only affects beat notes.

Wait is this only on kick01? I always assumed it was because b&b has an implicit note length equal to I think 1/16 (?) and apparently AFP doesn't have an option to have trailing playback like kicker does by default. As a workaround you can open the track in piano roll and set note length to the full beat.
Yeah initially I thought this was part of the design too. But changing the read beat note length doesn't change the sound, and this only happens on kick01. Really strange!

What sample rate are you using? I can reproduce this issue when using 192000 Hz.
I am guessing the issue may lie within AudioFileProcessor::beatLen
Thanks for reporting this issue! It should be fixed in #8176.
