Description of Change

Now I want to ask for help here. I don't quite understand how to make a custom item. I'm hard at English, and I've only recently started studying coding. Do I need to create a .json file and write all the characteristics I need in it? Or how? And you need to make this .json file in the "items" folder, right? And I also don't understand at all how to choose a custom item for the reward in the quest. How to do it? I beg for help in this matter Oh yes - if there are logical errors in the text, I apologize, I am writing here through a translator

I'm sorry if I wrote in the wrong place - I'm still not well-versed on this site.

Thank you very much. I've already been able to figure out how to create them. But there is no information on how to add a custom item as a reward for the quest.

The purpose of this command is not to give the player an item but to import it as a requirement for certain task types (for example if you need to check the NBT of an item).

Oh, I see now, thank you for the answer.

And also, if possible, I would like to know where to insert the file for custommodeldata: and in what format it should be, because this information is also not on the site, unfortunately. Or did I misunderstand the meaning of this setting here too?

image But there is no such information here - it just shows the command to configure the file, which selects the file for custommodeldata:
