Eliminate the 'global data' objects in Silo
There are a few global data members in Silo that cause information to be remembered from one object to the next. This is just a bad idea and show be eliminated from Silo. A similar argument holds for cycle, time and dtime data members. The rationale for this is that I routinely encounter users having problems because of the issues this creates
